This painting is inspired by the beautiful poem “She lets go” by Safire Rose. What I like in the verses of this poem is the idea of letting go in all simplicity. The balloon is flying away in the blue sky as a metaphor for letting go of any pain that limits or blocks our capacity to embrace life fully. When we let go, a space is created where we can welcome the new. This process frees us, allowing us to follow our joy.
Oil on Canvas, 28″ x 22″, $ 1750.
